My First Apartment

ASU has paid for my housing all three years that I have been here, I found it to be very convenient and a fun experience due to the fact that all my classes are located here at the Downtown Phoenix campus. All my classes are literally across the street from the residential hall and overall it is a nice place to live in however, going into my fourth year in the university I have decided to move out and try something. I decided to do this because I feel like as time passes by we all need to move forward, I am always thinking of what comes next and I just didn’t want to spend all four years of my college experience living in the dorm even though the cost is completely covered by the university.
I am aware that living off campus might be a little less convenient and maybe even stressful but I am willing to go through that, I knew this day was going to come sooner or latter and I’m sure it is just going to help me become a bigger person. I will be moving in with two good friends with big goals and aspirations, we all from California and have similar goals so I really don’t see us having problems in the future. I am very excited for this new chapter in my life, I am sure it is going to be very interesting.

  1. Eduardo,
Congratulations on your decision to have your own apartment. I can understand how convenient and easy it was for ASU to pay for your dorm and has allowed you a stress free living environment for three years. However, you are right in stating that you have to move on to bigger and better things. What better than to get your own apartment while still attending school, to get real life experience of what being responsible with bills and responsibilities before hitting the real world. Best of luck to you and enjoy your last year!

  2. Congrats on your fist apartment! It seriously is the best! Having some place to call your own and to come home and relax is the best feeling. It is also fun to learn how to cook! I love cooking and when I can I take full advantage. It sounds like you have awesome roommates and that is all the matters. Good luck and enjoy it!
